FAQ

What if I’m not near a store??  How do I place my order??
If you cannot get to a retailer, you are welcome to order from us. Please complete and sign both forms and fax or mail back to us. It is best to submit all orders for the entire wedding party at the same time for organizational purposes and to ensure dye lot consistency.  If you have any questions along the way, please don’t hesitate to contact us!  We are more than happy to assist you–it’s our job and we love it!!

 

How far in advance should I place my order??
Allow approximately 12-14 weeks for the dresses to be shipped from our studio. This means that you should order your dresses at least 18 weeks from your actual wedding date to allow for shipping time and alterations.  If you are cutting it close, you can always request a rush cut and/or speedy delivery. Please contact us for rush fees and times.

 

Do you do rush orders??
We always try to accommodate rush orders. Availability depends on production levels at the time of the order. Please inquire for applicable fees.

 

How do I select my size??

Will my dress be custom fit to my body??
No. You will select one of our standard sizes (refer to our size chart) based on your measurements. If you fall in between sizes, always order the larger size. It is easier to take a dress in rather than let it out. Alterations may be necessary after you receive your dress. Lynn Lugo doesn’t offer alterations, nor are we responsible for any alterations made.

 

What if my measurements don’t fall into the same size on the size chart??    We have some tricks up our sleeve that will help you get closer to what you need!   Feel free to email us your measurements and we will let you know if you should take advantage of one of these special services.   They could cut down on alterations, but won’t eliminate them.  Fees apply for our special services.

 

Does Lynn Lugo offer alterations??
We do not offer alterations nor do we cover the cost of them.   Since alterations are usually necessary to achieve the optimum fit, we suggest taking your dress to an experienced tailor that works with silk.  Make sure to order your dress in plenty of time for alterations.

 

I’m a mom-to-be, what are my options??
We have more good news!  Just about every bodice style we offer can be made into maternity.  There is a surcharge for maternity style.  If the wedding is too far in the future for you to select a size, we are happy to put your order on hold and get your final size selection as late as 8 weeks before the quoted ship date.  This gives you a little more time to get closer to the size you will be.  This “hold” service is free of charge.  We still recommend sizing up to allow for last minute changes.  Alterations should be expected.

 

Do you offer a quantity discount??
Yes we offer a $25 discount off of retail per dress for any order of three or more dresses in the same color and fabric. Maternity and flower girl dresses are included in this discount.

 

What if I don’t see the color I am looking for??
We are happy to go on the hunt for you!  If you have swatch or example of your dream color, send it to us and we will see what we can do. Special color fees apply.
